So the super moon rose on Saturday night marking the closest the moon has been to the Earth in 18 years.  The proximity made for an even larger full moon and the atmosphere colored the moon yellow/orange as it rose from the horizon.  I had planned out this location in advance and waited patiently for 7:17pm when the moon began its ascent.  It was moving fast and light from sunset was fading quickly so I had a few frames to capture the beauty of the moon and the light of Chandler Hovey park.  This is my favorite of the set – more so for the spectators you see on the neck and the sense of scale they bring to the image.  Below are a few more shots from the evening.
