This seemed an appropriate image for the upcoming Labor Day weekend.  Some time after capturing yesterday’s image of fog, light and shadows at Old Burial Hill, I had wondered down to Devereux Beach to see if the fog offered interesting vantage points near the ocean.  I found that the ocean seemed to disappear only a few feet from shore into that grey expanse and decided to set up a straight shot to accentuate the effect of the familiar beach in the fog.

I waited for a wave to come ashore and captured this simple image.  There was an odd glow in the middle of the image that must have been a collection of water reflecting the sun at my back.

Enjoy the weekend!
