On Saturday, January 24th, snow finally fell on Marblehead.  It’s been a Winter without snow but we finally received a nice helping of the white stuff.  As I looked out the window in the morning, I noticed the snow sticking to the trees and I knew I had to make my pilgrimage to Fort Sewall.

On January 18, 2009, I had captured my favorite image of Fort Sewall in the snow and had returned with almost every snowfall to see if I might be able to improve upon it.  Six years later, I finally had the right conditions.  I came away with both a very similar and very different image than the one you see below from 2009.
