Yesterday, I shared a frenetic slideshow showcasing every one of the 726 images shared in the first three years of Wednesdays in Marblehead. I was trying to decide how best to start Year 4 and went through the archive until I found this image from mid-January of a beautiful dawn captured from Front Street.
This was one of many failed attempts to capture sea smoke over the last Winter but, on this particular morning, I was rewarded for my efforts with great clouds above the horizon that encircled Marblehead Neck as well as wispy clouds higher up in the sky that held onto the pinks of dawn’s colors. This felt like the perfect image with which to start another great year of sharing images of my new (five years and counting) hometown.
