I had last gone out to capture images of Marblehead two weeks ago which seems to have become the norm for late winter/early-mid spring for me. The lack of foliage around town and the lack of boats in the harbor limits the compositional possibilities. I had high hopes for capturing the moon setting over Marblehead this morning and made sure to wake by 5am for the best chance of capturing the full moon against the early morning light. I checked conditions from my window and spotted the bright moon and then headed out to the Neck all the while watching some unexpected clouds build over the horizon.
