Another week comes to an end and two more stores are featured on Friday’s Keep it Local theme. I came across this view on an early morning walk in Old Town while the parking ban was still in effect. I loved the details in this house and the reflection of the rising sun in the window to the right. I was curious about the two stores depicted by these great signs and read up on them.
First up is Tallow Studio. Tallow offers custom-designed invitations, stationary and announcements. They mention a hand-cranked century-old cast iron printing press on their website (a really well done one by the way) and now I really need to talk my way into there to photograph this thing. Next door is Aster Floral Studio. Laura Cooper is the studio’s owner and designer and offers all you may need from a full-service florist. She also has monthly floral packages that are delivered free in town. Sounds like an awesome deal!
