When I first started the Keep it Local series, I took note of various businesses in town and especially those with interesting store fronts. Liberty Henry and Me met those criteria when it was located in a small space on State Street but I could never get the right light there.
On Wednesday, I was dropping off my 2013 16-month calendars at the Hooper Mansion when I saw that the store had moved and taken up residence on the corner of Washington and Hooper Street. The door was open and the sign perfectly reflected off the polished wood floors. I quickly setup and took this photo during a break in traffic (so that cars would not appear in the reflective windows). Stop in this weekend and take a look around at this store and all the other great ones in Old Town.
And, if you are looking for a great present, stop at the Hooper Mansion to pick up one of those calendars…
