Those who have followed this site for a while will know that I have a small obsession with cherry blossom trees.  We lived in Washington, DC for 3 years while I completed my residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown and, from that point on, Spring has been firmly tied to the peak of these trees.

I found this patch of cherry blossoms in the Harris Street Cemetery several years ago and have tried to shoot them at peak each Spring.  This particular image was taken on April 28, 2015 – I wonder when the trees will peak this year…
