This is a very old image and actually precedes the start of Wednesdays in Marblehead which I created in August 2010. We had moved to Marblehead in May 2008 and this was the first time I had captured Little Harbor after a snowfall. The snow was heavy and wet allowing it to stick to the tree in the foreground as well as on Brown’s Island.
I’ve gone back to this spot several times over the past few years and have never seen the scene in this same way again. That probably helps explain why, almost 6 years after starting this site, I am still able to find new scenes in the span of 4.4 square miles.
