After living in Washington, DC for 4 years, Spring has only truly arrived when the Cherry Blossoms flower and show off their beauty. I enlisted my viewers’ help last year to find cherry blossom trees in town and had happened upon this one on Washington Street that quickly became my favorite tree in town. On Saturday, when the gloomy clouds lifted and the sun shone brightly, I grabbed my camera and decided to drive around town to see if I could find any signs of Spring. As I drove by this tree, I felt that familiar sense of satisfaction at finding a suitable subject.
