My 16-month 2017 Wednesdays in Marblehead calendar arrived in time for the Artisans Festival last month and was very well received. As we approach its start in September, I thought I would do a giveaway to celebrate. Add a comment on my website to this post, on Facebook or Instagram to be entered to win. I will pick one person at random from each of those three locations and ship a calendar to them.

Looking at your pictures every morning starts my day off happy!
Glad to hear it Phyllis Fader – new photos should start again Monday
As someone who was born and raised in Marblehead and is unable to get back to visit anymore, I am so glad to have found your website and Facebook page. These photographs are exquisite and I look forward to Wednesdays, to see the new ones…thank you so much, you have a special talent!
Thank you Colette Goodwin
Beautiful photos that make me want to visit Marblehead when next i am in MA. Many good memories from when I belonged to a Marblehead theater group decades ago.
Living in Northern California now, I love the pictures you post of my home town. Where I was born and raised. I often share them , being a proud Marbleheader.
Thanks Judi Weed Elario. Are you anywhere near the Bay Area? I went to Cal and grew up in S. California…
I am in Eureka. I just moved here from Claremont, lived there for 20 something years.
Judi, there is no place like home! I spent the day there today. Had not been home in 3 years! Lots of childhood memories!
Haven’t been back since 2000. Someday I will get there.
another displaced Header here who appreciates you making me homesick on a daily basis
Never thought I would feel good about making someone homesick
accidentally moved to california 30 years ago, but my marblehead roots are deep, miss my hometown, will be a Header forever no matter how long i am gone.
My FB friends from far away who have lived here on the North Shore really enjoy your photos of Wednesdaty’s in Marblehead when I share them. Thank you so much for creating such a joy to others who miss there home town. :)
Thank you Alice Carroll Howard
Living in Texas doesn’t give me the opportunity to walk the streets of Marblehead very often… your website, books, and posts always allow me to ‘virtually’ transport myself back to Marblehead and my heritage. Please keep it up!.
Another year of breadth taking images of a beautiful town!
Thanks Karen Hughes
I love seeing all of your pics. But how you capture the wonder of Mother Nature is so exquisite.
Thank you Gina Twomey
As usual, Eyal, you make my Wednesdays a pleasure. It’s my few moments of nostalgia each week while I live here in Utah. I love my wonderful hometown and you have given it back to me so beautifully for so many years. My house is a homage to Marblehead with things I’ve collected over the years. I’m glad to hear that the 2017 calendar is out since I need to order my usual six for family and friends.
I’m coming back East in October to fly to Russia with my sister so I’m hoping we can make our annual pilgrimage back to town to visit friends and roam around. We generally stay at Harbor Light or Brimblecomb since we lived just up the street on Pleasant above Grace Community Church in the 40’s and 50’s. By the way, your shot from the plane over the Atlantic, Washington and School Sts. intersction showed all the places I worked in or roamed around when I was young although most of them have disappeared over the years. There are also places my Dad rebuilt and worked on as a master carpenter that I can still see. My parents lived on Rowland St at the time I was born. Frost’s Shell Station is gone, as is Rodgers Ice Cream, Abby May’s, Lemieux Shoe Repair, Giles Shoes, etc., but others, the Mollly Waldo, the old Fire Station (new use), the Atlantic Bank and many other buildings still survive. I love it!! Have a great vacation week. You’ve earned it!
Thanks again!
Jackie

I spent many days down at Fort Sewall, watching the harbor and the ocean; your images remind me of how beautiful my hometown is. Thanks so much for the work you do to bring these images to all of us, especially we who live far from Marblehead..
Your pictures help ease the pain of being almost 700 miles from home. You capture the beauty and uniqueness of Marblehead, that none other has. Your book is one of my most prized possessions and when I am feeling homesick I only have the thumb through it to be transported back home! Thank you!
I’m trying to picture 700 miles Pam Lemieux – glad the book can bring you closer.
I did grow up in Marblehead, so seeing my hometown through your art is magnificent.

Loving the moods in the fog shots lately!
Thanks Sue Levens – I’ve got LOTS more from that fog series to share…
This is a testament to the beauty that is that jagged little outcrop between the two capes that protects its fleet and is steeped in tradition.
Thank you Patrick Murphy – for such a small town it really is packed with beauty
I to was born and raised in Marblehead. Thank you for your talent and for making me homesick. Marblehead is such a beautiful place.
Thanks Stephanie Whitford.
Hi, I would love to purchase your calendar as a first wedding anniversary present for my husband. Sadly we are now back in the UK. I am very happy to pay for postage so if you could let me know how I can order with shipping to the UK that would be most appreciated. Love the website and your Instagram page.
Hi Helen,
I’ve shipped internationally once before (a book and calendar set that cost over $50 to ship to the UK). I can explore the cost for the smaller/lighter calendar.
Can you email me? [email protected]
Thanks,
Eyal
My daughter’s wedding was in Marblehead last summer. We are from Maryland and her husbands parents lived in Marblehead when they were first married. I wasn’t to thrilled that we were having a wedding in MA. Once we got to Marblehead my whole attitude changed. I fell in love and want to move up north now! I love your pictures and always look forward to them:)
I will be sad when my 2016 WED in MHD calendar ends, love having that piece of Marblehead on my wall that changes to another beautiful photo each month :)
I love the special gift u have for capturing the essence of Marblehead.
I have only visited Marblehead once, but love the beauty of this little town! I was fortunate enough to take home your book as a gift from my beautiful friend Cheryl Brolin Byrne; would love to give this to her because I know she loves your work!
Aw.
I have visited Marblehead many times and all your photos make me want to get back as soon as I can!

I’ll never make it back so I’d like one please ?? learned to sail in that harbor back in the late 80s. ??
I’m late to the party ?
Every Wednesday is a wonderful nostalgia trip for me, due to your posts.
I was born and grew up in Marblehead, then married and moved to Melbourne, Australia, where I have lived very happily for nearly 50 years.
I get ‘home’ to Marblehead every few years, but now I get there, virtually, every week.
Thanks so much!
