253 images of Marblehead shared in 365 days

This year I shared 253 images of which 180 were taken in 2016; the rest came from my to be posted archive.  I actually captured 346 images this past year but, as with years past, I end up with more shots than I can reasonably share and therefore have a growing archive of images waiting to be posted.

What started off as a personal website to explore my new hometown of Marblehead, Massachusetts has taken off in ways I never imagined.  When I first created Wednesdays in Marblehead in 2010 and was trying to come up with a name, I figured I would go with my one day off from my real job in the hopes of taking and sharing images once per week.  Little did I know that this town would prove so photogenic and that, even after six years and over 1,600 photos shared, I still have much left to explore.

Below is a video slideshow of every single image shared on Wednesdays in Marblehead over the past year.  Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the annual New Years Day slideshow with a look back at 2016 – this year, you can stream the video in 1080p or 4K!  While you watch, and if all goes according to plan, I’ll be shooting aerial views of Marblehead such as the scene that opens this year’s movie.

If you aren’t seeing these images shared every weekday morning, consider signing up for my weekly email digest that comes out every Wednesday at 11:00am and includes the last seven images posted to the website.  I occasionally email about sales on prints but the list is otherwise used only to share images.  You can also find me on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
