I think we can safely say that Spring has sprung in Marblehead. I was sitting at home on this Wednesday as rain fell outside and saw sunlight suddenly stream through the window as the rain slowed. I looked at my wife and she quickly said ‘go ahead’ at which point I grabbed my gear and headed out hoping for a rainbow.
I drove to Riverhead beach and saw a very faint rainbow form as soon as I parked. I flew the Phantom 4 Pro across the harbor to find a solid composition but the rainbow never fully formed. Instead, I happened upon this lone sailboat which I’m certain is the same one from this morning’s image which was taken two years ago.
As I hovered 50 feet above the water, the sun broke through the clouds once more and illuminated the boat while clouds reflected in the still waters. It almost appears as though the sailboat is floating on clouds rather than the waters of Marblehead harbor.
I particularly like the part about your wife. Haha
Yup. Even got a little eye roll ?
Love the reflection….
Beautiful shot! :-)
As wives we’re not averse to getting our husbands out the door and at least in your case, she knows exactly what you are up to and we all get to appreciate the results. Great photo once again.
