My Kickstarter campaign to help fund my next book is now LIVE! – (Instagram – link in profile)

With an early snow storm predicted to begin later today, I thought we might luck out with a nice sunrise to kickstart the day. With today being the launch day of my Kickstarter campaign, I had no trouble getting up early and making my way down to little harbor.  I was rewarded for my early outing in the 20 degree temperatures with some great colors at dawn. I remained there capturing more shots as the clouds shifted and the light changed before heading home to click the launch button on my Kickstarter project.

For those who weren’t following this site back in 2014, I had used Kickstarter back then to help raise the large amount of capital needed to fund my first Wednesdays in Marblehead book. The book was published using offset printing on high quality paper to help me fulfill my dream of producing a coffee table book that could capture my views of Marblehead. By the time the campaign ended, 271 people had backed my project and, a few months later, the book arrived.

If you had asked me in August 2010 what I expected from my Wednesdays in Marblehead site when it first launched, I would have answered that it was really just a way to motivate me to get out and explore my new hometown. I never would have guessed that this project would have grown to where we are today with over 2,500 books sold and nearly 10,000 people following on social media and encouraging me to keep sharing the beauty of this seaside town.

Thank you so very much for all of your support throughout the past 9 years. Please help me raise the capital needed to bring a new Wednesdays in Marblehead book to life.
