I received another request the other day for a ‘storm’ shot and thought this would be a good one to end the week with. Just as the Barnacle has borne the brunt of countless storms, so will the town of Marblehead weather this storm of health, social and economic impacts while sheltering in place and trying to keep the community safe.

I read today that Marblehead Board of Health has joined other towns in enacting a mask law beginning today that, according to the Reporter: “requires residents to wear a face mask if they are entering any business including grocery and convenience stores, restaurants for takeout, a pharmacy, liquor store or any place where social distancing may not be possible.”  I think this is a great step and was impressed when driving through Beverly the other day and seeing everyone out and about with masks on.

I might need to see if I can get one made with a custom photo and walk around with a favorite image of Marblehead…
