On Saturday, the YMCA chartered the Hannah Glover for a circumnavigation of Children’s Island and orientation for new campers. We hopped on board as my daughter will be there for a session this Summer and enjoyed perfect conditions.
Normally, we would have docked for a walk around the island but the dock was not yet operational for the season so, instead, we were treated to this view of the back of Children’s Island. I had never seen it from this vantage point and tried to capture the full length of the island. The subtle clouds forming a diagonal in the sky helped balance out the blue in the final image.
