On Saturday, January 24th, we had one of our first real snow storms of the Winter season.  It had been a while since I was last able to capture images of Marblehead in the freshly falling snow and so, as soon as I woke up, I headed out the door with a few destinations in mind.

I shared an image of Fort Sewall over the weekend but this (and another image coming Wednesday) were my favorites from the day.  I had just parked on Washington Street and captured images of Old Town House when I turned the corner and found this view of a Winter wonderland on State Street.

I captured the image from a spot in front of the Bus Stop and zoomed in to focus on the stately houses on this street but also chose to include the dresses in the window which seemed to go well with the rest of the image.  I just wish a few more of the street lanterns were still lit…
