Here is another image from my wanderings on Wednesday, March 2nd.  I shared an image from my last stop – Castle Rock – yesterday.  This image was from the middle of my journey chasing some great light after a rainstorm.

I had been shooting at Doliber Cove under cloudy skies when the light finally broke through and I manage to get a few shots I was pleased with.  Having done so, I walked back to the car which was parked across the street from this spot.  My eyes quickly snagged on the bright orange boat grounded on Fisherman’s Beach and I walked around to find a nice composition.

I shot this as the sun broke firmly through and the clouds above gave way.  There is something about an image of a boat left grounded at low tide that seems to add an unwritten story to the photograph and leaves the reader to fill it in.
