I hadn’t flown my drown in months (if at all) when I took it out on September 29, 2020. I flew straight up to a ceiling of 400 foot planning to scout the foliage around Abbot Hall but found very little in the way of colors (other than green). I took a few shots anyway and it wasn’t until I returned home and saw this on a big screen that I appreciated all the little details found in it.
For being an unexpected favorite, this bird’s eye view is my seventh favorite image of Marblehead captured in 2020.
