As I sit down to write this post on June 24th, I find myself at the end of an oppressively hot day with another on the horizon. With that as background, I decided to dive into the archive and bring out the first ‘cold’ image of the Summer.
This shot of Washington Street comes from the Blizzard of 2013 that descended on Marblehead in early February. We ended up with over 20 inches of snow, driving bans and cold. What better way to escape the heat than to be reminded of this scene that happened only 4 months ago?
It is also good to get this shot out in the wild as it is featured in my 16-month 2014 Marblehead Calendar that has gone on sale online and locally. Click here to see a preview –
