This image comes from a dawn photo shoot in early October. I had decided to shoot in the area around Little Harbor on this particular morning as I had noticed a few trees starting to show their Fall colors. Though the trees were far from peak, the combination of morning light and clouds added up to a strong outing.
At this point, the sun had risen high enough to cast its light over Brown’s Island. The small boat had rotated so that the sunlight could be seen shining through the windshield and I captured this image to include the boat and Marblehead Light in the distance.
