I captured this image of a stand up paddleboarder almost exactly four years ago.  I had gone out on what would turn out to be a lackluster Summer evening and almost gave up on any shots when I spotted someone taking off from Devereux Beach.

With smooth strokes, the lone SUP made his way through the calm water of the Atlantic Ocean.  I thought the lone figure in the middle of the ocean brought a sense of scale to the shot and especially when seen paddling past Boston seen in the background.
