As we make our way through the top 5, I chose this image of a brilliant sunset mimicking fire in the sky as #4 on my Top 10 of 2016 countdown. I still remember heading out on September 20th mostly because I had missed an amazing sunset the night before. I decided to go out regardless of weather, clouds or light and ended up at Corinthian Lane with its expansive view across Marblehead Harbor as the sun set and the sky exploded.
This was the most vibrant and longest lasting sunset I have witnessed in Marblehead with clouds creating the appearance of a fire in the sky as the light show reached its peak at this exact moment.
