I just couldn’t wait until Monday to start sharing images from this morning’s beautiful dawn over first harbor. I arrived at 6:30am and watched as the light began to break over the horizon. As it did, the captain of Stormy Weather turned on the lights to get ready to motor out for the morning. With the lights on the boat reflecting in the still waters and that small Christmas tree in the First Harbor boat floating on its own, I had an instant favorite. You can just make out the crescent moon in the sky but clouds shifted over it as I took this shot keeping it a bit subdued.
I’ll have many more images to share from this morning in the days, weeks or years to come. Stay tuned…
…and the lighthouse in the distance. Wonderful photo.
Ooooooohhhh!!!!!!

Beautiful
You even captured the green light of the lighthouse in the foreground water…love it!
I am glad you didn’t oversleep. This one is perfect.
Love sunrises in December – much easier to wake for a 7am than the summer 5ams…
Wednesdays in Marblehead I guess it’s worth wearing a jacket for 2 more hours of sleep
Your pictures amaze me
You’ve done it again! That is beautiful
This may be your best shot ever!!! It is perfection!!! ???
