I had hoped to shoot the Marblehead Tech Dinghy Association again this weekend but the lack of light and coming rain cancelled my plans for that as well as the full moonrise.  Instead here is another image from last weekend’s outing under far better conditions.

From my vantage point at the end of Parker Lane, I was able to capture scenes of these dinghy’s passing by Abbot Hall, the BYC, Crocker, St Michaels and, as here, The Landing.  From this position on the opposite end of the Neck, The Landing and Old North Church come into close proximity and the boats in the harbor with white sails breaking up the bright blue water completed the scene.

The first sailboat went onto its mooring this past week. I’m guessing with the mild weather so far this spring that many more boats will soon follow.
