The last image from Saturday’s dawn visit to Crocker Park illustrates this year’s lackluster foliage season (thus far).  I had just walked up from my spot where I captured three great images of dawn when I turned to look at this familiar tree.  I had found the early fall season to be disappointing as far as foliage goes – likely due to the dry and too-warm conditions (though I’m not complaining about either of those).

As I mentioned yesterday, the sun had disappeared behind thickening clouds and I was able to grab just a bit of sunrise color behind the tree showing a hint of fall at Crocker Park.  If you spot any beautiful trees in town, please let me know…
