Shortly after taking the photo of the anchor at dawn from Preston beach’s Beach Bluff park, I made my way around to the sun circle in hopes of capturing the now risen sun.  I was fortunate to be one of the few people out at that hour and angled the camera to include the entire structure with the sun on the edge of one of the slabs.  By doing so and stopping down the aperture to f/22 (letting in as little light as possible), I was able to bring out the sun star effect from the rising sun.  The light was still beautiful and I was thrilled to see the yellows, oranges, reds and blues in the sky overhead.
