Back to the Blizzard of 2013 for this image of Abbot Hall taken from Crocker Park. I love this view of Abbot Hall and have shot from this spot on a number of occasions and in various conditions. When I was trudging through the almost two feet of snow that fell during the Blizzard of 2013, I knew that I would have to make it over to Crocker Park for a snowy version of this composition. While the walk was brutal at times, the view did not disappoint with snow capped houses seemingly stacked on each other and leading up to Abbot Hall towering above.
I’m going to need to get through some more snow shots soon before the flowers blossom and it’s time to capture the magic of Spring in Marblehead.
