As I mentioned yesterday, I have now shared 700 images of Marblehead since starring this project in August 2010. I decided to go through my published and ‘to be posted’ images over the weekend to reflect on that and found this lone sailboat in Marblehead harbor. This image was taken on July 28, 2012 and I remember going out that day because some mid-day fog had begun to roll in. This was taken at noon and the fog at that point had been alternating between pea soup and atmospheric or moody. As I happened upon the lone sailboat, the light and fog seemed perfect and I grabbed this simple composition. Hope you enjoy it.
