I’m done. This is the longest, coldest winter I ever care to experience and it shows no signs of letting go yet. I shared images of snow on Monday and Tuesday so I thought it was time to bring out a warm image today.
This was taken on July 16th when a good friend invited me onto his boat for a ride around the waters of Marblehead. We started out in Salem harbor and I noticed this kayaker as we motored by the shore and approached Naugus Head. The sun had started to descend in the sky at this hour (6:45pm) and I caught the kayaker in mid stroke with the oar held over the water.
I don’t know about you but I need to be reminded of warm days to come as another cold spell approaches.
