As we're treated to warm days (interspersed with cooler and rainy ones), I can't help but look forward and keep thinking that Summer can't come soon enough. This image was taken at sunset on August 4th, 2015 from one of the public ways in town. As Summer hits its peak, Marblehead Harbor is filled with boats and it's a wonder that they can navigate through the moorings and make it out to sea. I can't believe that I have never shared an image of the Annual Horribles parade on my site. Granted, when I go, I'm more often shooting my own children racing around to collect candy. This image comes from July 4, 2012 and seems to perfectly capture the combination of tradition and fun that makes Marblehead the greatest place to spend the Fourth of July.
I'm done. This is the longest, coldest winter I ever care to experience and it shows no signs of letting go yet. I shared images of snow on Monday and Tuesday so I thought it was time to bring out a warm image today. This was taken on July 16th when a good friend invited me onto his boat for a ride around the waters of Marblehead.
