This is an image that I have wanted to share on countless occasions but always managed to find some other image to take its place. In November 2009, I was exploring Fort Sewall when I spotted this small boat in the mouth of Marblehead Harbor. The seas were rough and some good sized waves were coming to shore along Fort Beach.
The juxtaposition of someone fishing in the storm while standing on a small boat with waves crashing around Chandler Hovey Park was quite impressive. It was made more so by the relative size of the boat and Marblehead Light.
