With warm images predicted for next week and little snow left on the ground, I thought it might be fun to look ahead to Summer.
In early August, I had headed down to Marblehead Harbor on a picture perfect day to capture the view of a harbor filled with boats and clouds overhead. Hammond Park seemed to be the perfect spot for this view but, as soon as I arrived, I realized the foreground was missing something.
Only a few minutes later, a launch from the Marblehead Yacht Club came into the frame and I captured this view of someone taking the launch towards their boat in the harbor. Maybe this year, the boats will start filling the harbor in March…
