Last week I sat for the FAA part 107 certification examination and became a certified pilot of small unmanned aircraft systems (aka drones). In celebration, I wanted to share some images that I have been working on with the Phantom 4 Pro while exploring the many new compositions available to me with a third degree of movement above Marblehead.
This image of sunset on the Neck was taken on Friday, March 3rd. I had returned home from work and watched the clouds along the way wondering if they might pick up the light of the setting sun. I grabbed the drone and headed to Devereux Beach where I arrived just in time to fly above the causeway and capture the last hint of pink light over Marblehead Neck.
