As the blizzard takes shape outside on this mid-March morning, I just couldn’t stomach posting an image of snow. Instead, I turned to this incredible night at Crocker Park from late November. I had been shooting as the sun fell near Abbot Hall but noticed the best of the sunset color was quickly moving out of my composition.
I walked back and found the gazebo at Crocker Park perfectly positioned under the peak light of sunset. Without a flake of snow on the ground, this seemed like a much better image to start off this day.
I’m sure I’ll have many new images of snow to share in the days to come…
