Lightning and a Pink Sky

  • A single bolt of lightning dances across a pink sky at Castle Rock

Last night’s lightning storm was intense and too rainy for capturing photos of the bolts. It did put me in mind of this image from August 2015 and a storm I watch cross over Marblehead and retreat to the Atlantic.

I had chased the storm to Castle Rock and shot frame after frame hoping to catch a bolt of lightning. I lucked out with this image taken as sunset formed a pink sky to complement the strike across the frame.

Gorgeous! We heard a very loud crack of lightening that sounded like it was next to our house!

A month or so ago you had posted a gorgeous photo of Sea Smoke. I’d really like a print of it. I’ve gone through the ones posted under Sea Smoke but I can’t remember which one it was. Do you have a way to help me?

Was it the boat in smoke? Try this link for all of my sea smoke photos. You can purchase by clicking Shop in the top menu and choosing the type and size print then adding the title of the image in the Note section at checkout. I’ll confirm with you before placing the order with my lab. Thanks! https://wednesdaysinmhd.com/photo/sea-smoke/
