I mentioned yesterday that I had gone out on the morning of December 23rd hoping to catch the full cold moon setting. It took a bit of driving around the Neck on this morning to find the right vantage point but I ended up at the end of Harvard Street for this view.

The full moon descended just between Grace Community Church and that star at State Street Landing. With the cloudless sky, I was fortunate to capture the moon fairly low in the sky with nicely defined craters.
