On the morning that I set out to capture the full moon setting over Old North Church, I couldn’t help but shoot the sun as it came up as well. It was a clear morning with very little haze in the air and the sun appeared as a perfect bright spot in this ocean sunrise. The surround sky took on a deep orange-red hue and I had to stop myself from shooting at this point to make sure I didn’t damage the sensor on my camera. Luckily, a bird flew by to break up the sky just enough and add a bit of interest there.

So peaceful. And a sense of hope: the sun will come up this morning, a new day, full of promise. Question: do you use Lightroom to edit your photographs? I ask because it’s my understanding there is a “dehazing” function that will beautifully remove atmospheric haze. Maybe Photoshop has that function too; I don’t know.
Tranquility ?

How did you train those birds to show up just when you need them? I can’t count how many times they’ve done that! They must love your photos as much as I do!?
