On Sunday night, my son and I ventured out to scout out a new location for a shoot.  It was great having him with me to help carry gear and bat away mosquitos as I explored a new-to-me vantage point.  We packed up as the sun began to set on a cloudless sky and made our way home to catch the second half of the Patriots game.

As we rounded the corner at Redd’s Pond, I saw this scene before me and, before I said a thing, my son asked if we were going to stop and shoot the sunset….that’s my boy!  I only had minutes to set up and get this shot before the light faded.  You can make out the first signs of foliage in the trees surrounding the iconic house along Redd’s pond captured during a subtle Fall sunset.
