This image was captured two days before yesterday’s shot and accompanying gallery. I had been going out to shoot on a fairly regular basis (tomorrow’s image was taken 4 days before this one) and had ended up on the Neck with a nice view of the Abbot Hall, St. Michael’s steeple and Grace Community Church as the sun set.
I took several shots as the sun set and lit the clouds from below but found those lacking dynamic element. I then spotted a sailboat heading out of Marblehead Harbor for a Summer sail and timed this shot for when it appeared between moored boats.
