One of the good (or bad) results of a successful outing in Marblehead is coming back with far more than one image to share.  Especially in the Summer, sunset colors can change in a minute (or five) and result in very different images despite similar compositions.

Such was the case on July 18.  I had made my way to a favorite spot on Parker Lane for what turned out to be a beautiful sunset and immediately shared a panorama view that took in the entirety of the harbor from my vantage point as well as clouds overhead reflecting the colors of sunset.  While that shot was taken at 8:11pm, I had captured an image at 8:08pm focused on the familiar lines of Marblehead and Abbot Hall with boats moored in the harbor.

After taking the panorama, I recomposed a very similar shot at 8:13pm.  The difference in light is fairly dramatic and shows just how much sunset colors can change in a minute (or five).
