Continuing this week’s theme of sharing images from a single outing on a recent Wednesday in Marblehead, here is the second stop.  After shooting a short and long exposure image along Ocean Avenue, I decided to check out the view from this spot a bit further up.  Some of you may recognize this composition from a series I shared taken at dawn over the Winter.  I had actually just delivered a print from that set to the couple who live here and they reiterated that I had an open invitation to stop by in the future for more shoots.

It didn’t take me long to take them up on their offer and this is the view of Tinker’s island from their backyard.  Again, the light was great on this particular day and the ocean here took on a deep blue alternating with lighter blue-green.  In this frame I caught a seagull flying over the island and decided this was the ‘keeper’ from that set.
