As the nights get colder and the air dryer, thoughts start to turn from Summer toward the coming Fall. I thought I would start the week with an image that seems to toe the line between the two seasons with this foggy day at Devereux Beach.
This image was taken on August 9th (the same day that I shot the lifeguard chair from last week and two nice soft sunset shots yet to be shared). At this point, the fog had started to roll in and the setting sun lent some nice coloring to the low lying clouds. I walked as close to the water as I could and shot with each coming wave. This image captured the best combination of lines of the water as they hit Devereux beach and just the right amount of foam at the edge.
The title was easy – Life’s A Beach in Marblehead, MA
