I mentioned on Monday’s post that immediately after taking the shot of Devereux Beach on a foggy evening, I captured two soft sunset images – this is one of them. I’m not sure why but the idea of using the fence as a compositional piece had not occurred to me previously – I typically would walk down the causeway a bit for the unobstructed view.
On this particular night, the light was diffused by the fog so that there was great balance in the foreground elements of the fence and grass with the distant elements of Marblehead harbor filled with boats and Marblehead lighthouse in the far off distance. Hope you enjoy the view of a ‘fenced-in’ Marblehead harbor.
