The temperatures this weekend definitely made it feel as though fall was here (though the expected warmup later in the week will hopefully mean that summer hasn't let go of us yet). I couldn't help but notice a number of trees have already turned more than a month earlier than normal and I suspect that means a very fitful or staggered foliage season in Marblehead. I've shared a few images around the Lead Mills area from mid-October but not this vantage point. After capturing the Fall foliage along the edge of the water in Salem Harbor, I walked up Lafayette Street and spotted this red bush among the greenery. I used the rock wall as a leading line to bring the viewer's eye into the scene.
