For the past two weeks, the Christmas lights have been on at the lighthouse. Having captured images of the lighthouse decked out for the holidays from Chandler Hovey Park, I decided to try to find a different composition and headed to Crocker park. I got there a bit early and was rewarded with a great pastel-pink sunset.
As soon as the sun dipped below the horizon, I went to work to capture the soft Winter light and the great clouds above. This was one of my favorites from the set of images taken that day. A few minutes later, I turned to face the lighthouse and found some great new views to capture that scene.
