Nothing tells the story of this Winter better than this photo of waves coming to shore at Devereux Beach. It was early December and unusually mild on this Winter day. I had planned to shoot the lights at Old Town House but still had some daylight to kill so I headed down to the beach. I took a few images of the setting sun but couldn’t resist turning the camera toward the ocean and photographing the coming waves. I got hit by a later wave and the cold brought me back to reality in a hurry but, for a minute, it sure felt like Summer was just around the corner.
