I mentioned in yesterday’s post that I had gone out on Sunday to shoot the sunset before capturing the image of the lighthouse dressed up for the season. I had driven to Devereux beach in the hopes that the clouds would break just enough for a nice sunset. As I arrived and evaluated the beach, I noticed the ocean kept coming in tendril-like motions at certain points. I decided to set up the tripod at one of them and waited for the sun to dip below the horizon. As it did so, a red light emanated and was reflected in the temporary pools of water. It almost looks like the ocean is reaching out with fiery fingers to grab a the shore.
