I already shared one image from this sunset that took place on January 15th. That view showed an explosion of color over Devereux Beach as seen from the causeway linking Marblehead and the Neck.
Fifteen minutes before that shot was taken, I had been standing across the causeway trying to capture the last light of this Winter sunset over Marblehead Harbor. The scene was calm and beautiful with a lone sailboat still (still!) in its mooring and soft ripples of water reflecting the pastel colors of the Winter sunset. I thought this would be my favorite shot of the night with the composition coming together nicely but then the sky proceeded to explode and this image got pushed back in the queue by one week.
Hope the wait didn’t affect its reception. This Winter sunset should make for a nice start to the week.
