This seemed like a perfect image to start off what is supposed to be a beautiful, warm, Summer weekend. The image comes from the evening of June 2nd and a trip to the Rockett Landing off Village Street. I shared a photo captured from the top of the pier earlier but had taken this one shortly before walking back up to the road.
I was struck by the light first and foremost and decided on a vertical orientation so that the crescent moon could be included in the final frame with the dinghy tied up for the night.
